Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman and the wounding of two men at 4624 Aledo Street about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 28).
The identity of the female victim, 26, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The two male victims, 21 and 35 years of age, were transported to area hospitals.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Heaverlo and M. Perez reported:
HPD patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the residence at the above address and learned a female had been shot and transported to Ben Taub Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
While securing the scene, officers were advised that two males with gunshot wounds were taken by a private vehicle to Memorial Hermann Pearland Hospital. Detectives learned both males were with the female when the shooting occurred. One of the males was transported via Life Flight helicopter to Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center with serious injuries. The other male victim was in stable condition.
According to witnesses and one of the male victims, a suspect(s) in a vehicle drove by the residence and fired multiple shots at the woman and the two men. There is no description on the suspect(s) or vehicle at this time.
