Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4359 Alvin Street about 8:25 p.m. on Sunday (November 22).
The identity of the victim, 38, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Pak and C. Flora reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a meet-the-firefighter call at a residence at the above address. HPD and Houston Fire Department personnel entered the residence and found the victim lying on a bedroom floor suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. HFD paramedics pronounced him deceased.
A preliminary investigation indicated two other persons lived at the residence and were present when the shooting occurred. They were no longer at the scene when officers and paramedics arrived.
At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
