| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one male and the wounding of another male that occurred at 4200 Sherwood Lane about 2 a.m. Friday (December 1).
The identity of the deceased male, 15, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found a juvenile male unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the juvenile deceased. A second male, 17, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported by private vehicle to an area hospital. He is expected to survive his injuries.
At this time, the motive for the shooting has not been determined.
