Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4200 Laura Koppe Road about 8:45 p.m. on April 22.
The identity of the victim, 36, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A Hernandez and R. Waterwall reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found a male suffering from at least one gunshot wound inside a vehicle. He was transported to an area hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased.
Preliminary investigation indicates this was an isolated incident. At this time, there is no known suspect(s).
