Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of another found at 3941 Fondren Road about 3:25 a.m. on Sunday (Feb. 11).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The wounded male, also believed to be in his 20s, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call and found two males suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle that had crashed at the above address. One of the males was pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics. Paramedics transported the second male to the hospital
A preliminary investigation indicated the victims were shot by a suspect(s) believed to be in a newer model, white Dodge Charger.
