| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 3500 Telephone Road that occurred about 10 a.m. on Tuesday (October 17).
The identity of the deceased male, believed to be in his 40s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Stroble and Detective K. Collier reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at a motel at the above address and found the victim unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
