| The fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 3230 West Little York about 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday (May 9) is being referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The deceased victim is identified as Marlo Brown, 48. His brother, Tayo Olu Brown, 37, suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Arrington and L. Patterson reported:
Marlo and Tayo Brown got into an argument which led to a confrontation with a pistol. As the brothers fought over the gun, both suffered gunshot wounds. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Marlo deceased. Tayo was transported to the hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to the face.
