Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 3021 Berry Road about 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 29).
The identity of the deceased male is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Wallschlaeger and M. Althaus reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the male to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Further investigation revealed the male had been shot near 8518 North Arkansas Street and walked to Berry Road where he was found.
