Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3000 Brazos Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3000 Brazos Street that occurred about 3 p.m. on Wednesday (August 11).

The identity of the victim, 21, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Clark and M. Nicotra reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victim unresponsive lying in the roadway.  He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

According to witnesses, the victim got into an altercation with two unknown males, which led to the shooting.

The suspects, described only as two black males, were seen getting into a gray sedan of unknown make and model and then fled the scene.
