Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2950 West Sam Houston Parkway South about 10:15 p.m. last Friday (May 27).
The identity of the victim, 32, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Detective L. Lange reported: HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a motel parking lot at the above address and found the victim unresponsive on a sidewalk. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased. Further investigation determined the victim and a male suspect were arguing when the suspect pulled out a gun, shot the victim and then fled on foot. The suspect is described only as a black male, believed to be in his 20s, wearing a white muscle shirt and red shorts.
