| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 2920 Brewster Street about 5:20 p.m. on Monday (August 15).
The identity of the victim, 15, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective M. Hughey reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the residence at the above address and found the victim unresponsive on the driveway. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
A preliminary investigation indicated a gunshot was heard and a dark gray or green vehicle of unknown make and model was seen fleeing the area.
At this time, there is no known suspect description.
