Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2830 Wilcrest Drive

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2830 Wilcrest Drive about 9:10 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 14).

The identity of the victim, 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Simmons and Detective J. Escobar reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a hotel parking lot at the above address and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.  Paramedics transported the man to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

At this time, there is no known suspect or motive in the shooting.
