Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 2800 Reed Road about 2:45 a.m. today (October 7).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Evans and T. Tyler reported:
Three armed male suspects entered a gas station at the above address. Shortly after they entered, gunshots were heard and the suspects fled. The store clerk (victim) was shot and pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspects, described only as three black males wearing masks, fled in a dark-colored vehicle that appeared to be missing a front passenger side hubcap. Surveillance photos of the suspects and the suspect vehicle are attached to this news release.
