Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 2800 Broadmead Drive about 3:30 p.m. on Thursday (April 3).
The identity of the victim, 36, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives S. Chettry and H. Martinez reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting call at the above address and found a male with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics where he was pronounced deceased.
Witnesses stated an unknown black male, who appeared to be in his early 20s, shot the victim and then fled on foot.
