Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of a male juvenile that occurred at 2525 Old Farm Road about 4:25 p.m. on Monday (October 26).
The identity of the deceased victim, 41, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The juvenile male, 11, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Homicide Division Detective L. Lange and M. Estep reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex parking lot at the above address. Upon arrival, they found the two victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics declared the adult victim deceased at the scene.
Further investigation determined the suspects, described only as three black males, entered the apartment complex on foot, approached the victims, and then shot at them multiple times. The suspects then fled on foot to a nearby black Pontiac sedan. They then fled in an unknown direction.
