Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2510 Berry Road about 10:05 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 4).
The identity of the victim, 33, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective S. Overstreet reported: Officers responded to a shooting call in a convenience store parking lot at the above address and were advised that paramedics pronounced a male deceased at the scene. The man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Detectives learned the victim confronted an unknown male suspect in the parking lot. When the victim turned and began to walk away, the suspect pulled out a gun, shot the man multiple times and then fled in an unknown vehicle.
