Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and woman found at 2209 Triway Lane about 6:30 a.m. today (Feb. 22).
The identities of the deceased female, 62, and the deceased male, 66, are pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:
Officers responded to a call for a welfare check at the above address and found the two individuals inside the residence. Both were located in an upstairs bedroom and had suffered apparent gunshot wounds. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victims deceased at the scene.
Further investigation identified the individuals as husband and wife and indicated the shooting may have been a murder-suicide.
