Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 16900 Northchase Drive about 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday (April 18).
The identity of the victim, 41, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Torres and A. Graf reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim, suffering from gunshot wounds, in front of his apartment door. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the man to a local hospital, where doctors pronounced him deceased.
Witnesses reported seeing three or four unknown black males near the apartment moments before the shooting. At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive in the case.
