Houston police are investigating the shooting of a male and the apparent suicide of a second male found at 16600 Parkridge Court about 1:25 a.m. on October 3.
The identities of the male victim, 48, and the male suspect, 44, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Rodriguez and K. Aloysius reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and located a male lying in the street suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the male to an area hospital in critical condition.
Officers located a second male lying in the driveway suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Evidence on scene indicated the incident was a an attempted murder-suicide in which the male suspect shot the male and then shot himself.
