Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1514 White Oak Drive that occurred about 7:05 p.m. on Saturday (November 4).
The identity of the victim, 41, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Ledford and M. Burton reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a gas station at the above address and found an unresponsive man in the driver’s seat of a black sedan. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased from a gunshot wound.
A preliminary investigation and evidence from the scene indicated the man met with two unknown suspects in a pickup truck, described as a blue, Ford F-150, in the parking lot. A male suspect approached the victim’s vehicle and shots were fired. The suspect, described only as a white male, got back into the blue Ford pickup truck and fled the scene.
At this time, there is no known motive for the shooting.
