Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 13930 Fondren Road about 5:30 a.m. today (Sept. 2).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Miller and Detective D. Stark reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call in a hotel room at the above address. They were advised the male checked into a room at midnight and was supposed to check out at 3 a.m. The manager allowed Houston Fire Department paramedics to conduct a welfare check in the victim’s room. Paramedics found the male unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced him deceased.
At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive in the shooting.
