Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman found at 13700 Anagnost Road about 10:25 p.m. last Friday (May 3).
The identity of the victim, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Wilson and Detectives M. Nicotra and K. Clark reported:
A patrol officer on an unrelated call for service drove down the street at the above address and located the body of an unresponsive female in the roadway. She had suffered apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics were called and pronounced the woman deceased.
At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s) in the shooting.
