| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 13535 South Post Oak Road about 3:55 p.m. on Sunday (February 26).
The identity of the victim, 45, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Finlay and L. Kauffman reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found a woman unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the woman deceased.
According to a witness, the victim and the suspect appeared to know each other.
