Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 12700 Glenhollow about 10:10 p.m. on Sunday (February 3).
The identity of the deceased male, 12 to 13, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants K. Meek and J. Horn reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found a juvenile male in the middle of the street who had been shot. He was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. A second male, 23, was later transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.
Further investigation determined three juveniles, including the deceased, had attempted to rob the male. During the robbery attempt, one of the juveniles was shot and the 23-year-old male assaulted. He managed to drive to another location where paramedics were then called.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
