| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 12647 Ashford Meadow Drive about 12:30 a.m. today (March 5).
The victim, Marcus R. Bert, 32. of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective K. Heaverlo reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex the above address and found Mr. Bert lying on the ground in front of an apartment.
He had been shot multiple times.
Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots and possibly a physical altercation. No witnesses to the actual shooting have been located at this time.
