Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another found at 12546 East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10) service road about 2:05 a.m. today (Feb. 23).
The identity of the deceased victim, 28, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The second victim, Eric Fulcher, 27, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Dominguez and Officers R. Watson and K. Heaverlo reported:
The two victims were driving away from a sports bar at 11095 East Freeway when unknown suspects began shooting, striking both of them. The passenger was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver remains in stable condition.
