Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12500 Dunlap Street about 7:25 p.m. on Monday (January 18).
The identity of the victim, 20, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Martinez and R. Montalvo reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address. Upon arrival, they found the victim, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, lying on the ground in the complex courtyard. Officers attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
There is no known suspect(s) or motive at this time.
