Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12207 Ormandy Street that occurred about 4 p.m. on Sunday (September 12).
The identity of the victim, 21, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Lamont and M. Hughey reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at 6200 North Braeswood, where the victim was pronounced deceased by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
Further investigation indicated the shooting occurred at 12207 Ormandy Street and two friends of the victim attempted to transport him via private vehicle to the hospital. They arrived at 6200 North Braeswood, which is a senior care facility, in hopes of getting immediate medical treatment for his wounds.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
