| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female found at 12101 Fondren about 6:40 a.m. today (December 31).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Detectives B. Evans and K. Fregia reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to the Lundren Park Apartments at the above address regarding a female found lying outside apartment building #21. She had sustained several gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
Residents reported hearing a verbal altercation between a female and an unknown male just before hearing gunshots in the immediate area in the early morning hours.
