Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of two others at 12008 East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10) service road about 11:10 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 2).
The identity of the deceased victim, 26, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The two other victims, 27 and 30 years of age, were transported to an area hospital in stable condition. HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Flora and J. Flores reported: The three victims, each operating a motorcycle, left the parking lot of a business at the above address and traveled eastbound on the service road when a black SUV pulled up next to them. One or more persons inside the vehicle fired multiple shots at the victims, striking all three of them. One victim crashed his motorcycle and was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The two other victims were also transported to a hospital in stable condition. The suspects are described only as four Hispanic males in a black SUV.
