Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men and wounding of a third male at 12000 Huntington Glen Drive about 11 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 16) and seeking information on a vehicle believed stolen from one of the victims.
One deceased victim is identified as Michael Barrientos, 18. The identity of the other deceased male, age unknown, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. A third male, 16, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Roscoe reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Barrientos lying in the street. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead by Houston Fire Department paramedics. A second victim, found on a sidewalk, was also shot. Paramedics transported him to the hospital for treatment.
Officers were then notified that a vehicle (Toyota Camry) was found nearby, crashed into a brick wall. Officers discovered a male in the driver’s seat. He also had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Barrientos’ vehicle was not on scene and is missing at this time. It is a gray/beige 1998 Toyota 4Runner with TX license plates JTD-4883. A photo of the vehicle is attached to this news release.
