Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11500 Keegans Ridge Road about 8:35 p.m. on Thursday (July 23).
The identity of the victim, believed to be 25 to 35 years of age, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers B. Salazar, T. Richardson and B. Godoy reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex parking lot at the above address. Upon arriving, officers found a man (victim) lying on the ground next to a white Chevrolet Silverado with the driver’s side door open and a gun on the ground next to him. The victim had been shot multiple times. Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s) in the shooting.
