Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 11100 Safeguard Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 11100 Safeguard Street about 10 p.m. last Friday (March 22).

The identity of the deceased male, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Lovelace and M. Hughey reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found an unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the street.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.

A preliminary investigation and evidence from the scene determined a white SUV and a black, four-door sedan were seen fleeing the scene.  At this time, there is no known suspect description.
