Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 1023 Hogan Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1023 Hogan Street about 9:40 p.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 4).The identity of the victim, 26, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and Detective L. Kauffman reported:Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a gas station at the above address and located the unresponsive victim inside the store.  He had suffered a gunshot wound.  Paramedics transported the man to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. There is no suspect(s) or vehicle description at this time.  Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.JFC/SOA       1-5-23Inc #001891123
