Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10101 South Gessner Road about 9 p.m. last Thursday (October 15).
The victim, 58, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. Doctors pronounced him deceased the next day (October 16). The man’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Barrow and J. Caten reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment at the above address and found the victim had been shot multiple times. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to the hospital.
Witnesses stated they saw two black males, one wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and carrying a gun, fleeing the apartment complex. They were accompanied by two black females, one wearing a striped dress and the other appeared to be the driver of a white Toyota sedan with paper license plates. All four suspects appeared to be in their late teens to early 20s.
