Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman found at 7625 Hammerly Boulevard about 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday (June 27).
The identity of the victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective L. Brooks and J. Gardner reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex and found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
