Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 1500 South State Highway 6 about 11:40 p.m. on Sunday (November 24).
The identities of the adult deceased victims are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer D. Thompson reported:
The male driving a white Ford Crown Victoria traveling northbound at the above address failed to maintain a single lane. The male then crossed into the southbound lanes and was struck by a black Mercedes C250. The driver of the Ford was ejected from the vehicle. The driver of a tan Toyota Camry traveling southbound also struck the Mercedes.
The driver, 28, of the Ford was pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics. A male back seat passenger in the Mercedes, 55, was also pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. The male driver, 64,and female passenger, 46, of the Mercedes were transported to an area hospital for injuries. The driver of the Camry was not injured.
The investigation is continuing.
