A man critically injured in a crash at 9900 South Main Street about 1:20 a.m. on June 7 has died.
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 60s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Ogden and Officer M. Rios reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, was crossing the street – not at a crosswalk – at the above address when he was struck by a gray Honda Pilot.
The male driver of the Honda was questioned and released after showing no signs of intoxication. Paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. Doctors pronounced the man deceased on Thursday (June 20).
