| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 9300 North Wayside about 11:45 p.m. on Friday (January 18).
The identity of the male victim, 15, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez reported:
The victim was riding an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on a trail in the woods behind the above address when he may have suffered a medical episode. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to Texas Children's Hospital in critical condition. On Sunday (January 20), doctors pronounced him deceased.
The investigation is continuing.
