| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 900 Durham Drive about 2:25 a.m. today (August 6).
The identity of the deceased male, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Prejean and Central Patrol Division Officer J. Castrejon reported:
A black Dodge Charger was traveling the wrong way, northbound in the southbound lanes, near the above address and struck a blue BMW I3 traveling southbound on Durham head on.
The male passenger, 25, in the Charger was transported to Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased. The male driver, 58, of the BMW was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. The male driver, 24, of the Charger refused medical assistance and was not transported. He remained at the scene.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
