Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 8500 West Montgomery Road about 11 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 7).
The identity of the deceased male, 64, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer T. Hudson reported:
A maroon Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling southbound near the above address when the operator struck a white Toyota Camry. The Toyota was traveling northbound and attempting to turn left onto South Victory when the crash occurred. The impact caused the operator of the motorcycle to be ejected and he landed on the roadway.
Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, Jaleel Malik Brown, 31, was determined to impaired and was subsequently arrested and charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated in 12th Criminal District Court.
The investigation into the crash is continuing.
