Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 8400 North Houston Rosslyn Drive about 6:10 p.m. on Thursday (June 18).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Gonzales and Officer M. Mathews reported:
The victim was operating a purple Katana motorcycle northbound at the above address and leaving a stop sign when the driver of an orange Chevrolet Camaro failed to yield the right of way leaving a stop sign and struck the motorcycle.
Paramedics were called and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Camaro did not show signs of intoxication. He consented to a blood draw, and was questioned and released pending further investigation.
