Houston police are investigating a fatal crash in the 800 block of Pineloch Drive about 10 a.m. on Saturday (May 24).
The deceased male is identified as Nazrul Islam, 64,
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer J. Trevino reported:
A blue Audi Q5 traveling eastbound on Minor Hill Drive and a white Honda Accord traveling northbound on Pineloch Drive collided at the intersection. Preliminary investigation indicates the Honda failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
Paramedics transported the male driver and female passenger of the Honda to HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. Doctors pronounced the male deceased. The female, 60, is in stable condition.
Paramedics transported the female driver, 66, of the Audi to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in stable condition.
The investigation is continuing.
