Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 7900 South Loop East (South Interstate Highway 610) about 5:05 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 10).
The identity of the deceased male, 41, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer C. Song reported:
The operator of a blue or white unknown motorcycle was traveling southbound on the South Loop feeder road at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane, struck the curb and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
No other vehicles or persons were involved in this crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
