Houston police have learned that a man critically injured in a crash that occurred 7900 Bellfort Avenue about 5:15 p.m. on November 28 has died.
The victim, Rogelio Villafana, 41, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Arnold reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a crash at the above address. Mr. Villafana was driving a black Dodge Ram pickup truck eastbound on Bellfort Avenue when he struck a curb and then a light pole. The pickup truck then struck a guardrail and crashed into the bayou.
Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Villafana to the hospital where, on December 7, he was pronounced deceased. A juvenile male passenger was treated and released at the scene.
