Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7800 Long Point Road

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7800 Long Point Road about 4:20 p.m. last Friday (March 3). 

The identity of the deceased male, 45, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Investigator J. Leon reported:

The driver of a red Dodge Journey was traveling westbound at the above address and making a left turn into a parking lot when her vehicle was struck by a red Ducati motorcycle traveling eastbound.

The motorcyclist was transported by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Dodge was evaluated and determined not to be impaired.

No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is ongoing.
