Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 7155 Will Clayton Parkway about 2:05 a.m. on Saturday (April 11).
The identity of the deceased male, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer C. Moralez reported:
A silver Buick Verano was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound at the above address when the driver left the roadway and struck a tree. One male passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the male driver, 29, and two juvenile female passengers, both 16, to an area hospital.
There were no other vehicles involved in this crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
