Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 7100 Jensen Drive that occurred about 3:45 a.m. today (November 3).
The identity of the male victim, 44, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer J. Roberson reported:
Witnesses stated the victim was walking on the southbound lanes of Jensen at the above address and, after seeing him stumble and fall, believed he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. A short time later, witnesses heard a crash and saw a black Nissan sedan or a gray pickup truck drive away from the scene, traveling southbound.
Paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
