| Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 7000 West FM 1960 Road about 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 31).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Warhol and Officer C. Loring reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, was crossing the street – not at a crosswalk – at the above address when he was struck by a silver Chevrolet Malibu travelling westbound on FM 1960. The driver failed to stop and render aid and fled the scene. The victim was transported via Life Flight helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
