Investigation into Fatal Crash at 700 East Little York Road

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 700 East Little York Road about 12:45 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 15).

The identity of the deceased male, 39, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer F. Flynn reported:

The male was operating a blue Yamaha motorcycle at a high rate of speed eastbound at the above address when he struck a silver Chevrolet Equinox traveling westbound and making a left turn into a private drive.  Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene.  The female driver, 26, was questioned, did not show signs of intoxication and was released.

The investigation is continuing.
